In 2006, Miss Dannie Huggs reached a pivotal turning point.
While working in Corporate America, she realized that although her life looked right on paper, it no longer felt aligned with who she truly was.
One winter evening in Denver, during a quiet snowstorm, Dannie stood on the patio of her downtown apartment, ten stories above the city. She was moving through deep depression, loneliness, and uncertainty when a massive white owl appeared through the snow and flew directly toward her balcony.
In that moment, everything shifted.
She felt peace move through her body, her tears stopped, and a deep inner knowing came over her:
She was being guided.
She was not alone.
Everything was going to be okay.
Within a year, Dannie left Corporate America and began a devoted path of healing through therapy, spiritual study, energy work, and self-discovery. As she healed, her own gifts as a healer deepened.
The white owl became a sacred symbol of transformation, wisdom, and spiritual change.
In 2019, inspired by that experience, she founded White Owl Apothecary, rooted in the belief that Mother Earth provides powerful support for healing, remembrance, and return to self.
