You will build heat as you flow breath to movement. This class includes sun salutations, core strengthening, balancing, and inversion postures. Modifications and variations will be cued so students of all levels have the opportunity to explore their edge.
Beginner Empowerment Vinyasa
Our beginner power vinyasa class guides you to experience the mental, physical and spiritual benefits of power vinyasa. We will explore fundamental yoga postures, breath and alignment at a gentle pace. Instructors provide demonstrations, answer questions and assist each student. This class is perfect for newer yoga students and is accessible for students with injuries/limitations.
Sol Shine’s signature blissful gentle vinyasa class focuses on creating harmony in the mind, body, and spirit. You will release physical tension through longer, deeper heart-openers and forward folds while drawing your attention to your breath as you let go of the things that no longer serve you. This gentle class is accessible to students of all levels including beginners and students with injuries or physical limitations.
Yin yoga is a deeply nourishing practice for mind, body and spirit. It restores balance by activating tissues deep within the body. We move at a slow pace, holding each pose for several minutes with the aid of props and supports that allow the muscles to release and the body to open gently. Although alignment is discussed, the focus is more on the internal experience of the poses than on outward form. ALL LEVELS
Restorative yoga is an all levels class focusing on restoring your mind, body, and spirit. It is the centering of your breath and body – aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. We use black, blankets, and straps to assist in helping you to holding poses longer in the most relaxing and restorative way possible.
The art of cultivating Qi (life force)
In this class you will learn ancient taoist practices that combine control of breath and body movement to promote physical strength and wellbeing, mental clarity, and spiritual enlightenment. We will incorporate both seated and standing meditation, as well as an intro into Yang style tai chi. This class is open to everyone and accessible to all levels of physical ability and experience. Qi Gong benefits every aspect of your life and can be a simple, yet profound addition to any practice.
